State of the Neighborhoods Address (2019)
In the Fall of 2019 the Center For Neighborhoods held their first State of the Neighborhoods Address (SONA) at the Kauffman Center in Kansas City, MO. This event was attended by local neighborhood leaders, city and state officials, and CFN Cohort graduates. The event highlighted the remarkable work that our neighborhood leaders are doing in their communities, as they were the key speakers of SONA.
The CFN team made a short film throughout 2019 for the SONA event that captured the stories of many KC neighborhood leaders and highlighted CFN’s four pillars: Leadership and Governance, Health and Safety, Technology and Communication, and Planning and Development. Following the four pillars was a segment on Youth and Community, and CFN acknowledgments. This film was featured at the event and played between guest speakers. Please watch below.
