Welcome to Center For Neighborhoods
We engage, equip and empower volunteer leaders with the tools they need to address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities in their neighborhoods and community. Center For Neighborhoods utilizes an asset-based community development (ABCD) methodology, which works to build communities from the inside out.

Some Good News from 2020!
Neighborhoods Rising Fund
In June of 2020, Community Capital Fund announced the neighborhood organizations who were awarded the Neighborhoods Rising Fund(NRF) grants. Out of the 29 Missouri organizations who received NRF grant, 15 are Center for Neighborhood cohorts! Here’s a few pics of the neighborhood leaders receiving their check.
Congrats to all the recipients, and thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
SC//PD Portal
When covid-19 hit CFN created the Social Connecting // Physical Distancing portal, initially to keep a safe and open line of contact with our neighbors. It quickly turned into something so much more… From April to December CFN put on 40 virtual sessions and workshops and offered 1:1 assistance to all members of previous Cohorts 1-7 – while actively converting Cohort 8 to the same platform.
