On Tuesday, March 1st, the Center for Neighborhoods hosted a Night at the Museum in cooperation with our partners at the Kansas City Museum. The event welcomed our valued neighborhood leaders to explore the museum’s galleries and hear a brief program on our partnership. Thank you to Anna Marie Tutera, Paul Gutierrez, and the rest of the museum’s staff for hosting us. Thank you to Tiff Sykes (Cohort 10, Scarritt Renaissance), Kathy Persley (Cohort 5, Heart of the City-Dunbar) and Michael Bushnell of Northeast News, for contributing to our program and explaining how your neighborhoods partnered with the museum to help produce its neighborhood gallery spaces. We’re so thankful to everyone at the Kansas City Museum for highlighting the histories of ALL Kansas City neighborhoods and encourage you to plan your visit today!
