Established: 1971

Mission:
49/63 is an umbrella organization that serves to coordinate the interests of all stakeholders within its boundaries, including residents, neighborhood organizations, businesses, and institutions; and to interact with governmental and other entities to provide a more powerful voice in advocating for the needs of all of its constituents.

Open board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every other month at 6:00 PM at the Alvin Brooks Center for Faith-Justice at Rockhurst University (5401 Troost Ave).

Next annual community-wide meeting and Board of Directors election is scheduled for November 10, 2026.
